Electric Grandma was founded in 2024 by writer and filmmaker, Zoe Haney. Inspired by Zoe's grandma, Shirley, and other electric individuals who refuse to fade quietly into the background, EG celebrates stories of unexpected power, humor, and defiance across generations.

After living all over the world, Zoe moved back home to Austin, Texas. The company is dedicated to building a new kind of production ecosystem that exists outside the usual machinery. EG inspires filmmakers to take risks, get weird, and make something honest. Call it independent. Call it cowboy.
